  • Rushed.

Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking would have worked so much better if they had developed Keith and Jules relationship. Unfortunately, they haven't and I didn't care enough.

The wedding was obviously going to get cancelled somehow and Jules running away was the pretty obvious conclusion. I did like Jules but they rushed her and Keith's relationship so I just didn't care enough when he was heartbroken. I did think Karen was selfish in what she said to Jules BUT she was right.

For an episode supposed to be about Keith's wedding, he was barely featured. Peyton and Jake continue to be a great couple. They seem really happy, and even have sex, but come face to face with Jenny in their final scene. Probably the best of the cliff-hangers in the episode. Nathan crashing the wedding drunk was pretty funny but kind of sad too. Deb telling him to go get Haley was a welcome relief! She's on drugs now too, wonderful. AND Dan appears to be taking her down next. I wonder how??

I felt bad for Haley because she never asked to be seen as a couple with Chris Kellar and that was obvious, so Nathan should have let that go really. And Brooke getting closer to Lucas was nice - and she's 'moving' to California. What an odd way to end the episode.

So a bit of a let down for a supposedly big episode.

  • Keith's Wedding

It's Keith's wedding day to Jules. While having a private investigator dig up things on Dan they can use to get Lucas back, Karen and Andy find out that Jules is not who she says she is and Karen threatens to tell Keith, but Jules says she really does love him.

Brooke begs Lucas to take her to the wedding. They are really cute together in this episode. Peyton and Jake hook up before the wedding and Brooke calls them out on it when they get to the church.

Nathan is upset and shows up at the church drunk after watching an interview on TV with Haley and Chris where Chris said he was with Haley. Haley wanted to deny it and say that she was married, but Chris interrupted her. Chris sucks!!

Deb is abusing prescription drugs and blows up at Lucas when he calls her out on it.

Jules ends up leaving Keith at the alter. She leaves and Keith is heartbroken.

This is just the first of several Tree Hill weddings where bad things happen.

  • Season 2, Episode 16.

It's Keith and Jules' wedding day, and the event has turned the town upside down. Brooke asks Lucas to take her to the wedding as his date, Nathan makes an important decision about his marriage, and Jake and Peyton take a big step in their relationship. Meanwhile, Karen and Andy discover Jules' secret relationship with Dan.

Peyton: What are you getting married to Felix too now?

    Brooke: Oh, please...

LMAO! I love Brooke! :) Dang Nathan. Haha, Brooke and Nathan are my favorites. Season 2 is pretty up to par with season 1, I'd say. I feel so bad for Deb. :( VERY good episode. =]moreless
  • A Wedding?

Keith and Jules' wedding day, and the event has turned the town upside down. Brooke asks Lucas to take her to the wedding as his date, Nathan makes an important decision involving his marriage to Haley, and Jake and Peyton take a big step in their relationship. Meanwhile, Karen and Andy discover Jules' secret relationship with Dan. This episode is named after a song by Snow Patrol. For better, for worse. Keith and Jules' wedding day brings many couples closer: Jak and Peyton, Andy and Karen, Lucas and Brooke. But not Keith and Jules. Another great episode. I loved the scen in the church.moreless

  • QUOTES (15)

    • Lucas: What are you doing here?
Brooke: Well, I just came by to let you know that my safe rides program, DW Not I, is officially up and running, so pass the word at the reception. You know, drunk and bitter bridesmaids... and Deb.

    • Dan: (Knocks down the groom on the wedding cake) One down. (Looks at Deb) One to go.

    • Nathan: What are you doing here?
Deb: Making sure you find the kind of happiness I barely remember. Go get Haley. She's your wife.

    • Nathan: True love. That's a good one. Don't do it Keith, just get out while you can! It's all a lie! There's no such thing as forever.
Dan: What the hell are you doing? This is a church, for God's sake!
Nathan: Oh, shut your hole, you freaking hypocrite. I know what you did.
Deb: Nathan, it's okay. Let us help you.
      Nathan: Do what?
      Deb: Be happy again.
Nathan: Happy? You don't even know how to be happy, Mom. Haley and I never stood a chance with you.
Deb: Is that what you think?
Nathan: (to Dan) You hired Chris, too?
Dan: Don't make me knock you out, son.
Nathan: Screw you, you sick son of a bitch.

    • Haley: Nathan matters.
Chris: Listen, you made a decision. Don't blink now.

    • Karen: Jules is great.
Keith: Yes she is. It's like I finally found my place in the world and it was here all along.
      Karen: I'm glad.

    • Haley: Nathan, none of these mean anything if I can't share it with you.

    • Lucas: Kahlil Gibran once wrote: Your reason and your passion are the rudder... and the sails of your seafaring soul. If either be broken, you can but toss and drift, or else be held at a standstill in midseas. For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining and passion, unattended, is a flame that burn to its own destruction.

    • Brooke: Was it awesome? Just give me a hint.
      Peyton: Brooke.
Brooke: I know we're in a church. So blink once if it was good, and twice if it was better then that. (Peyton blinks, once, twice, and over and over again.)
Brooke: Oh My God! I love weddings.

    • Brooke: Hello Hottie!
Peyton: Ya, well. This one wasn't my mom's so...
Brooke: Ya, well. Either is this one.
      Peyton: Wow.
Brooke: I no. I kinda Anne Frank'd a couple things in the attic before the yard sale.

    • Peyton: Going to the wedding?
Brooke: Um-hum.....with Lucas. Just as friends.
      Peyton: (disbelieving) Really?
Brooke: Come on, love triangles are so last season.
Peyton: So, Felix is totally cool with it, right?
Brooke: I actually haven't, umm, told him yet.
      Peyton: Brooke!
Brooke: I know, except I've never just been friends with a guy before, except for Mouth. That's different.
      Peyton: Well how's it going?
Brooke: Good. Felix is my boyfriend. Lucas and I are just friends. I promise. But I love you for looking out for me.

    • Andy: I love you. I love your mind. I love your heart. I love picturing our future together. I mean, I hate the thought of you ever not being in my life.
      Karen: Andy.
Andy: And I don't want you to say anything. I just, I just had to get that out.
      Karen: I love you to.
Andy: I was hoping you'd say that!

    • Lucas: (voiceover) Remember tonight for it is the beginning of always. A promise. Like a reward for persisting through life so long alone. A belief. In each other and the possibility of love. A decision to ignore or simply rise above the pain of the past. A covenant which at once combines two souls yet severs prior ties. A celebration of the chance taken and the challenge that lies ahead. For two will always be stronger than one, like a team braced against the tempest of the world. And love will always be the guiding force in our lives. For tonight is a mere formality, only an announcement to the world of feelings long held, promises made long ago in the sacred space of our hearts.

    • Jake: That was a word! That was definitely a word.
      Peyton: In what? Swahili?

    • Brooke: Oh my God ...You guys totally did it!
Peyton: Umm... Brooke? We're in church.
Brooke: So? If I can tell, so can He.
