The spot where Haley poured Lydia's ashes into the river is also used in the season 4 finale and it is where Karen and Andy watched the meteor shower in season 2.
During the slide show of pictures we see Lydia, Quinn, and Taylor with Haley at her high school graduation, but they did not attend.
The Sheryl Crow song "I Shall Believe" playing near the end is actually not the first time it has been used in a dramatic sequence on One Tree Hill. It was also used on episode 14 of season one with that particular episode sharing the same title as the song.
Lauren: So, shall we get to the elephant in the room?
Mouth: Sure. His name is Harold, and he's very sweet. He never forgets, but he's very forgiving.
Brooke: In the movies you don't see how much punching hurts the puncher.
Alexander: And who did the puncher punch?
Brooke: Alex!
Alexander: Because ...?
Brooke: Because I went to Julian's hotel room last night and I saw Alex naked in his bed and I could hear him in the shower.
Alexander: Oh dear!
Brooke: You said it.
Alexander: No, I meant, oh dear I don't know what room she was in but Alex was with me last night and she was very naked.
Brooke: You?
Alexander: Yes.
Brooke: Not Julian?
Alexander: Non.
Brooke: In Julian's hotel room?
Alexander: Apparently.
Brooke: Oh my God! (Brooke walks away holding her hand up to Alexander)
Alexander: Oh, come on! Look ... whatever you've done ... how, how bad can it be? (The scene changes to Paul on he set)
Paul: We're completely screwed!
Alex: Didn't know your own strength, did you Bamm-Bamm?
Josh: Nice job on the eye. Not good enough for film but definitely good enough for sex.
Alex: Shhh. If you talk I can't pretend you are somebody else.
Brooke furious enters the stores and dumps the clothes on the ground.
Brooke: Hey daughter, hey mother. How was your morning on the set daughter? Oh, it was just fine mother... fine until the ex love of my love and current bane of my existence made it very clear to me that they did the wild thing last night. (When Brooke sees that Victoria doesn't say anything) ... This is when the motherly sympathy is supposed to be kicking in.
Victoria: Sorry. I've been waisting all my self pity on me. But if misery loves company, I got stood up last night.
Brooke: Paul stood you up? What a toad.
Victoria: I never said ...
Brooke: You didn't have to. It is so clear to me that the Julian apple didn't fall far from the sleazy Paul tree.
