  • Sad end to a sad storyline.

'm preparing be sad now I'm watching The Last Day of Our Acquaintance. Lydia seems worse already. And she's calling Taylor too. Now dead wife look alike. What the hell is this storyline? Lauren and Mouth do seem quite good together. Weirdly enough. And she's right, he still needs to get over Millie. Funeral arrangements. This isn't good. :( She's collapsed too. God. Alex didn't sleep with Julian. That's obvious. This is a really odd storyline - she looks exactly like Clay's wife. This is odd. And shouldn't he be with Quinn? Brooke's angry and that's fun to watch. Lydia isn't going to make the episode. Quinn is trying to get through to Taylor...who I feel sorry for. This would be hard. Memory lane. It really is the end.

Brooke is really being stupid but that punch was hilarious. This drama seems silly when all this death is going on. Haley's meltdown was sad and heart-breaking. Ha, oh Brooke. It obviously wasn't Julian. She's dead. Not in that way. Weird dead wife look a like. It just gets sadder and sadder. HAHA, Brooke's lying on the floor. I kind of wish she was there for Haley though. I don't think they've even had one scene. Aw, Victoria is heartbroken. Cos she's banging Alexander. I know she hasn't been in the show for long, but it's sad to see Lydia go. I wish she had appeared in other seasons. Taylor saw sense and is back! This means the end. Brooke said sorry. Now this is sad. Taylor is crying. And Lydia makes an amazing speech. There's the reveal, Victoria was sleeping with Alexander. That scene where Taylor and Quinn and Haley make up is touching, even more so when Lydia thanks Jamie for granting her wish.

Here comes the end. Finally Brooke and Julian seem to be back together. The final montage. Alexander and Victoria blah. But guy is filming him and Alex having sex. And Lydia is dead :( The funeral scene was so sad. Everyone crying. Haley breaking down. But it was sweet to end it with Haley making soup with Jamie, and Quinn telling Clay she loves him. I hated how it ended with that crazy Katie girl making her hair like Clay's dead wife. STUPID.

    So sad.

  • We'll Miss You Lydia James

Lydia collpases and ends up in the hospital. Quinn goes to get Taylor. And they finally make up. I'm glad they redeemed Taylor. I really hate they did this storyline and killed of Lydia James, but as sad as it is it worked. It was so powerful and emotional. The pictures and then the end with her funeral with that Sheryl Crow song was so sad, but wonderfully done.

I can't believe Brooke punched Alex, but I'm sure she's wanted to do it for a long time. I'm just really glad Julian didn't sleep with Alex. And I am oh so glad that Brooke and Julian or back together.

Victoria and Alexander: Okay! Did not see this one coming, but okay.

Alex and Josh: Whatever. I don't care.

Katie...that girl is crazy. She doesn't even know Clay. What is she thinking dyeing her hair like that and going after him.moreless
  • Finally!

I think I have made it abundantly clear that I do not approve of this stupid storyline with Mama James being sick so thank Heavens it is final over. We won't miss you (although I do miss Huey Lewis as Haley's father.)

The episode was not horrible, but I am just not excited by this current crop of storylines at all. I have no desire to see Clay unsure of his feelings because a girl looks like Sara, or a weird love triangle involving Mouth.

This show is really falling fast. If they want an 8th season they better give us some reason to watch.moreless
  • Gag me with a spoon!

Sorry. The plot lines were fine but there was some painfully bad acting. Haley's sisters, in particular, need to take a few classes. And no one dies like that, no matter how much artistic license and suspension of belief you employ.

I hate to say it but this show better grow a pair soon. Once upon a time the male characters were at least interesting. Now every guy in the show is nothing more than a whipped love interest. The show has turned into one long chick flick. More basketball. More SOMETHING than tiresome female relationship drama and melodramatic pablum.moreless
  • My Favourite this season. A real tearjerker.

This was by far my favourite episode of the season. It had everything that i wanted, including some very nice naley, brulian and Quinn and Clay scenes. As well as alot of otherrandom/funny scenes with the other characters.

It also had a few things that i didn't want like the death of mama James and the filming of certain couple during a certain exercise.

However the way that Mama James did go was a real nice one (as nice as death can be i guess). This whole episode was an emotional rollercoaster and i loved every second of it. It was a tear jerker and i think that i cried more after Mama James' death than Keith's purely based on the exceptional acting of every cast member during that time. Hats off to all of the actors. And i hope to see more episodes like this in the future and hopefully into a season 8moreless

    • During the slide show of pictures we see Lydia, Quinn, and Taylor with Haley at her high school graduation, but they did not attend.

    • The Sheryl Crow song "I Shall Believe" playing near the end is actually not the first time it has been used in a dramatic sequence on One Tree Hill. It was also used on episode 14 of season one with that particular episode sharing the same title as the song.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Lauren: So, shall we get to the elephant in the room?
Mouth: Sure. His name is Harold, and he's very sweet. He never forgets, but he's very forgiving.

    • Brooke: In the movies you don't see how much punching hurts the puncher.
Alexander: And who did the puncher punch?
      Brooke: Alex!
      Alexander: Because ...?
Brooke: Because I went to Julian's hotel room last night and I saw Alex naked in his bed and I could hear him in the shower.
      Alexander: Oh dear!
      Brooke: You said it.
Alexander: No, I meant, oh dear I don't know what room she was in but Alex was with me last night and she was very naked.
      Brooke: You?
      Alexander: Yes.
      Brooke: Not Julian?
      Alexander: Non.
      Brooke: In Julian's hotel room?
      Alexander: Apparently.
Brooke: Oh my God! (Brooke walks away holding her hand up to Alexander)
Alexander: Oh, come on! Look ... whatever you've done ... how, how bad can it be? (The scene changes to Paul on he set)
      Paul: We're completely screwed!

    • Alex: Didn't know your own strength, did you Bamm-Bamm?

    • Josh: Nice job on the eye. Not good enough for film but definitely good enough for sex.
Alex: Shhh. If you talk I can't pretend you are somebody else.

    • Brooke furious enters the stores and dumps the clothes on the ground.
Brooke: Hey daughter, hey mother. How was your morning on the set daughter? Oh, it was just fine mother... fine until the ex love of my love and current bane of my existence made it very clear to me that they did the wild thing last night. (When Brooke sees that Victoria doesn't say anything) ... This is when the motherly sympathy is supposed to be kicking in.
Victoria: Sorry. I've been waisting all my self pity on me. But if misery loves company, I got stood up last night.
Brooke: Paul stood you up? What a toad.
      Victoria: I never said ...
Brooke: You didn't have to. It is so clear to me that the Julian apple didn't fall far from the sleazy Paul tree.
