  • Quotes

    • Nathan: I screw up a lot, all right... and being around you I just, I don't wanna be that guy anymore.
Haley: Who do you wanna be, Nathan?
Nathan: I wanna be somebody who's good enough to be seen with you.

    • Brooke: Hello Abercrombie.

    • (Brooke walks up to Peyton at school a few days after Peyton had been drugged at a party)
Brooke: So, have you been to any bad parties lately?
      (Peyton and Brooke both smile)
Brooke: C'mon, I'll walk you to History.

    • Nathan: Couldn't you be into lobster?
Haley: Dude, macaroni and cheese is food of the gods.
Nathan: Yeah, if the gods are five year olds.

    • Brooke: I don't blame you, I'd be a bitch to me too after last night.
      Haley: Knock yourself out.

    • Karen: Please tell me that you were somewhere in the land of no phones.
Lucas: I know. I should have called.
Karen: Coming home would have been another option.
      Lucas: You're right. I'm sorry.
Karen: You looked me in the eye, and you said: "Go to Italy. I can take care of myself".
Lucas: Look, I can, mom. A guy drugged Peyton's drink at a party. Brooke called me for help. I took her home, waited 'till she felt better. Truth.
Karen: As excuses go, that's pretty solid.

    • Peyton: I didn't wake up with a foggy memory.
Brooke: Well, you didn't wake up with Lucas either.

    • Karen: (to Keith as she's about to board the plane to Florence) You remember when you said the other night that I had good instincts and that I should trust them?
Keith: Yeah. (Karen leans in and kisses a shocked Keith)
      Karen: You were right.

    • Haley: You know, I keep, I keep putting myself out there, and you keep blowing it, it's probably a good thing because at this point there's nothing you could say or do that's gonna surprise me. (Nathan kisses her) Except that.

    • Brooke: What's your idea of your perfect date?
Haley: You getting hit by a bus.
Brooke: And that sense of humor… Nathan's really lucky.

    • Lucas: So why'd you call me, anyway? Why not Nathan or one of the guys?
Brooke: Because I knew you'd come through.

  • Allusions

    • Brooke: Hello Abercrombie

Abercrombie & Fitch is a very popular clothing label. Texas Battle, who guest stars in season 3 of One Tree Hill, was the first African-American to appear in an Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue.

Also, when Brooke says this, she is referring to actor Sean Faris' character. Sean Faris was on Life As We Know It co-starring Jon Foster, who happens to be Sophia Bush's boyfriend (as of 2008) and was a model for Abercrombie and Fitch in Winter 2004.
