Quinn is released from the hospital. Hailey insists that Quinn stay with her until she is well enough to go back to the beach house. Quinn agrees and the two head off to Hailey's house. Jamie is on a play date and Nathan is still at the hospital with Clay.
Without knowing that Nathan's career is about to end because of his back, Clay kept talking about work and how he's looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. Nathan doesn't want to stress Clay out so he stays quiet. Hailey calls Nathan and tells him to stop by Quinn's on his way home to pick up the rest of Quinn's stuff.
Nathan enters the beach house and is greeted by a horrific scene. There is blood all over the walls and the carpet. Nathan flees the scene and goes to a bar to try to clear his mind. Julian shows up and tells Nathan about Jamie's interest in basketball, which is something new to Nathan. Nathan realizes that his back is not getting any better, Hailey is having another baby, and he doesn't even know about his sons interests – Nathan decides to retire from playing basketball.
Nathan goes home to tell Hailey. She is very happy, but questions his sincerity. He reassures her that this is what he wants to do. He checks on Quinn who is curious about her and Clay's home. He tells her that things will be fixed when they are set to go home. He goes back to the house and cleans up all the blood.
A man shows up at Brooke's clothing company and tells her that he has invested all his money in her company to pay for his daughter's college tuition. Since the company went down, he is now unable to pay for his daughter to attend college. Brooke is devastated to see how all her companies' lies have broken so many hearts. Brooke decides to give all the money back to their investors. Brooke's mom does not think this is a good idea, but she plans to do it anyways. Meanwhile, Alex and Chase's relationship is still going strong.
