Goof: When Brooke is calling Peyton she says that she can see Peyton on her webcam, and the camera shows a closeup of the image of Peyton and Hayley on the computer screen. However, when Brooke says "Hi to you, too, Tutor Girl" the webcam screen behind Peyton is blank, as if the webcam is off.
Haley references the previous episode's dropped plot about Peyton and the orphan. She tells Peyton she needs her help but says, "don't worry it doesn't involve orphans..."
That's actually Bryan Greenberg's (Jake) voice singing the song "Lonely World" at Karen's Cafe.
During the scene where Whitey tells the team that practice is canceled indefinitely, Brooke mysteriously appears and disappears. In every shot where Whitey is talking you can clearly see Brooke standing in the front, but each time the camera cuts back to the team she is no longer there.
When Lucas, Nathan, and Haley are in the cafe and Lucas invites Nathan to the river court, what you hear him say is "some of the guys and I". But if you read his lips, you will see that what he actually said is "some of the boys and I."
When Lucas goes to Jake's house on Saturday, you can see a notebook on the step in front of him. Then Jake gets up to take Lucas inside and he grabs the notebook. When Jake opens the door he sets his guitar on the chair, but he doesn't have the notebook anymore.
In the morning after scene of Luke in his bed, his belt is undone and when he pulls the sheets off and gets out of bed, he has his shoes on.
Haley: (referring to Peyton's taste in music) You're all over the place.
Peyton: I kinda got a lot of moods.
Haley: Nathan, about last night?
Nathan: Hey, look it's not about sex with me, okay? When you're ready, I'll be too.
(they kiss)
Lucas: Haley, I'm not the bad guy here, ok? Peyton's just too... hard.
Haley: Unlike Brooke, who I understand is nice and easy.
Lucas: Excuse me! She makes me laugh. She's honest. She's not afraid to be herself, ok? Plus, she's not covered head to toe in issues.
Lucas: (to Brooke) Hey babe.
Skills: Hey Luke. So that means we're gonna get to see a little bit more of you, I mean you know since you got some time on your hands, right?
Brooke: Not if I have anything to say about it, boys.
Skills: See that is whack, dog. We win the game and he gets the girl.
Deb: Haley, I'm glad you're seeing Nathan. He's lucky to have someone like you.
Whitey: (to Nathan) Nice to see you vertical.
This is the second time the theme song "I Don't Wanna Be" is played during a scene. However, it's the first time we actually see song writer Gavin DeGraw playing it.
Although credited, Moira Kelly (Karen) doesn't appear in this episode.
On the season 1 DVD, there is a bonus video of Gavin Degraw singing Chariot in Karen's Cafe.
