When Del meets the 'real' owner of the resturant he says "I just gave him (Mr Ram) money for this (statue) on the count of him fibing!" When in reality he gave Viaml the money.
Vimmal: I thought you were right-handed. Del: No, I'm ambiguous.
Del: I'm a black belt... in origami.
Rodney: Are you all right, son? I thought you was in bother! Del: That's why it took you an hour and a half to come! Didn't Grandad tell you that I'd called? Rodney: Oh yeah, he told me! "Del Boy's been captured by the Indians," he said. I didn't know whether to call the police or the Texas Rangers!
Mr Rahm: If I got into my car at 9:00 in the morning, it'd take me up to 2 in the afternoon to drive around my land. Rodney: We had a car like that once.
This was the only episode where we see the Vauxhall Velox. The Capri Ghia later replaced this as Del Boy's personal car.
This was the first of only two episodes of Only Fools and Horses in which the interior the Trotters' flat is not seen. The other is "The Longest Night" from Series 5.
The idea for the script was based purely on the name of the episode "Cash And Curry", from that the script was devised.
