Operavox is a TV program, featuring animated versions of famous operas. Each opera is compressed to run 30 minutes. This experimental series, which aimed to make school-age children appreciate opera, include six episodes namely "Turandot," "Rhinegold," "Rigoletto," "The Magic Flute," "Carmen," and "Barber of Seville." It was shown on BBC2 from 1994-1995. Among the voices featured on the series were those of John Connell, Julie Gossage, David Barrell, Janice Watson, Freia, and John Harris, among many others.
