Why is it that ABC keeps coming out with this garbage it seems that they have given up on entertaining anyone and are simply going for the cheapest hour of TV they can possible produce.

The shows idea is to go into a random family's home ask the people questions about each other and give away money and crap. It sounds like it could be interesting but the way it was pulled off the show could replace the need for proscription sleeping pills or as a less human form of capital punishment. The only good thing that can be said about this show is that it wont last more then a month.moreless

opportunity knocks, hosted by jd roth, brings the game show to your front door... literally. the stage is set up right outside your home and the audiencce consists of family, friends, and neighbors. the crew raids your home looking for anything they can use to test how well the family knows each other. while i noticed the similarities between this show and amnesia, i think this show can stand on its own and is quite unique. i also enjoy how the prizes are personalized to each family. i recommend watching this show for a good time and a good laugh. and best of all, you can watch with the whole family.moreless

This game/reality marks JD Roth's 20th anniversary of hosting game/reality shows. From Fun House to Endurance, even Masters of the Maze (where Mario Lopex replaced him as host) to Moolah Beach (Kyle Searles' start).

I find this to be a family version of NBC's Amnesia, only because of some of the multiple choice stunts as well as personal questions. At least Dennis Miller didn't give away back stage passes to the Jonas Brothers (LOL).

Opportunity Knocks is one of the rare reality shows where the entire family can participate. With the exception of Sex Wars, JD Roth can be trusted doing family shows.moreless
