      • Zack: (as they prepare to go after a felon) Warrant?
Danny: We'll talk our way around it.
Zack: What do you mean 'we', white boy?

      • Ron: Reliable or not, the Fisheries Minister wants something for his dollar fifty's worth of funding. So, you can either work for him on this, or you can help police the dumping of maritime sewage.
Danny: Gee, Ron, it's great being part of an elite task force! What do the ordinary guys do?
Ron: Would you like to find out?!

      • Zack: (to Donna, needing to leave a sample with the fertility clinic) Psst! You couldn't, um, give me a hand, could you, babe? (Donna laughs, while Zack pleads holding up the sample cup)

    • NOTES (2)

      • The Fisheries man is stealing undersized paua from poachers and then selling them. Paua are also known as abalone, and are highly prized as food, as well as for their beautiful mother-of-pearl shells. In New Zealand people are legally permitted to take ten paua a day for their own consumption, but only of the fully mature shellfish. It is illegal to take undersized paua because they haven't matured and completed the breeding cycle, leaving fewer to carry on the species' survival.

      • This episode was filmed on location at West Auckland's Bethels Beach. This location was also frequently used in all the Pacific Renaissance TV shows, especially Hercules and Xena.
