  • Series ends with some weak moments

    7.0
After some riveting episodes, the season 1 finale disappointed me a bit. It felt a little like they were just trying to come up with some good stunning moments for the finale, but many of these seemed unrealistic and some were quite unpleasant. Most notably there is something that is portrayed as a big reveal and a huge plot point at the end that really isn't. Realistically there is a limit to what can be done with law, and those girls going on Oprah and explaining their case would probably be their best protection right now.moreless
  • This is the season finale, too!

Vic, only NOW do you seek help? That's so bad xD I guess you need things to occur and hit you in the head before you truly realize how badly you need help, huh?

Holy moly! I did NOT expect Well a tiny little part of me did, but... WOW I did not see it coming from that angle.

The actress that does so many roles deserves acclamation. She had multiple personalities and played them well, in my opinion anyway. I love this! The show simply cannot end this way, there WILL be a season 2.moreless
  • Patenting Life

    8.0
Oh, they went there. Not something I expected and not something I think the series is going to be able to get away with save including some serious explanation. Though it's been done, people don't readily accept that plants, etc. can be patented, so being able to patent the components of life isn't something they can realistically get away with. Moving on from that, as a season finale, this episode fell a bit short. We know that Rachel is kinda in charge, but she's just another clone, so she must eventually be betrayed. I don't trust Delphine at all, especially after the double-back with Donny (totally saw that coming). What I really wanted to see was more of what Art was doing, but they just touched on the police side and then backed off. And why introduce Amelia if only to kill her off? Waste of a character. I'm not worried about Kira at all at the end of this episode; more concerned with Mrs. S - because this supposed danger coming from her is, as of yet, undefined. Overall, a strong first season for a show that's been mostly overlooked.moreless

Sarah: Rachel didn't feel like a truce; she felt like a gun to the head.
Felix: Okay, little reminder. While you and I were being arrested, Helena escaped.
Sarah: Thank you, Fe. Would you also like to remind me my birth mum popped around and Helena's my twin sister?
