  • Who is the copy cop?

    8.5
As we get to know the clones their hidden agendas unravel and we realize they are all parts of the same dark and deep puzzle. That is who is good and who bad? Who are sinners and who are saints? Who IS the copy cop? These eternal unanswerable questions are explored as the clones try so hard to stick to their main overarching agendas. Agendas that are as familiar to them as the back of their hands, yet as unknown as; who is their maker and what is their fate. Who will survive? We meet Helena who might have some answers, but is too dangerous and primitive to connect with. She speaks in religious riddles that only stir-up fear and mistrust for everyone. Helena is a master marksman with a crazy agenda that seems to make no sense.moreless
  • Wow. Just wow!

    8.5
Wow, wow, wow! I don't know how else I can say qualify this episode.

I sincerely don't have any leads on this... but... what if the killer, the blonde one who was abused... what if she was the original? Or thinks she's the original and this is what drives her to kill her clones? Because she doesn't want any?

For that matter, it could be a clone who wants to be the original? Hm...moreless
  • Got Your Back

    8.5
At the rate we're losing clones, this series isn't planning on sticking around more than a season or two. But they'll be enjoyable. We're not that much farther in after this week, but seeing Sarah sliding so easily into Beth's life is really a work of art. A little unbelievable, but it's grounded so that you're able to look past it. I really, really enjoy Felix and loved Sarah's realization that she has to do things the "right" way to get through this. It makes you care a bit more for the main character, and that's always important in a show.moreless

    • Sarah: Beth's partner found the German. At least part of her.
      Cosima: Part of her?
Sarah: Yeah. Um, I messed up when I buried her. They have a fingerprint, Cosima.
Cosima: Oh, wait, are you being Beth right now?
Sarah: Yes. Yes, I'm at the bloody crime scene pretending to be a bloody cop. So I need to know if the bloody fingerprints will flag a bloody match!
Cosima: Whoa! Okay, okay. Don't freak out. They need to use Interpol to find the German, which is unlikely. But, um, if one of us had a criminal record here... Do you have a criminal record?
Sarah: Just...petty fraud, assault, whatever. Wasted youth, all right? If the body matches me, the cops will see a mug shot of somebody who looks like Beth. Only it's yours truly and I'm already supposed to be dead.
Cosima: Wow, wow. Welcome to the trip, man.

    • (after meeting Alison and Cosima)
Sarah: They're not me. They're not. They're completely different people.
Felix: Soccer mum Sarah? Dreadlock science geek Sarah? Arguably more attractive to your evil Sarah.
Sarah: Yeah, I was there, thank you.
Felix: How can it be, though?
Sarah: What difference does it make, Fe?
Felix: Last time I checked, human cloning was illegal, let alone impossible.
Sarah: Yeah, leave it out, okay? It doesn't matter.
Felix: It does matter! Dead Beth, dead German, those two, three other Euros, you, that's eight. And Dreadlocks is going on about a blood sample saying it's life or death. You can't just ignore it.
Sarah: Yes, I can. I'm just me, okay? The song remains the same. We get the 75 grand back from Beth's partner, we get Kira, and we get as far away from all this as possible.

    • Alison: So my bottom line is my children can't know their mother is a freak. Things have to stay on a need-to-know basis.
Sarah: Yeah, I'm fine with that.
Alison: Good. So, we made a decision to trust you.
      Sarah: Really?
Alison: Sarah, this is my life now, and I'm doing the best I can.

    • Sarah: Just answer me one thing.
      Cosima: Anything, yes.
Sarah: If we're genetically identical, do you get that little patch of dry skin between your eyebrows?
Cosima: (chuckles) That's good. Try to keep your sense of humor. Beth couldn't.
