  • 0_0. Wow. Crazy episode.

This episode was just kinda all over the place, it was sickening to watch (in a good way). At the beggining the Ouran High School is holding this event where people do recreational arts from other schools can come and perform there. That's when the Zuka club comes, immediately stating that they dislike the Host club... then they try to persuade Haruhi to come join their school. After Tamaki gets worried that Haruhi might leave them he thinks of a plan for all of them to dress up as girls to surprise her. Then when Haruhi sees it she bursts out laughing (which actually didn't sound bad at all). Haruhi decides to stay with the Host Club. Besides the fact that this episode was kinda just out there, there were a lot of funny moments like when Renge kept appearing (now I am starting to like her) and when the bananna gag kept happening. So I loved it.moreless
  • The Zuka Club members from St. Lobelia's try to get Haruhi to go to their school. Will they succeed?

    5.5
I'll tell you right now that this is my least favorite episode of the series and the lowest rating that I have given an episode of any series so far. I did not even get the point of the episode even when I watched it a couple of more times. The Zuka Club members are way too uptight with what happens during the Host Club. To be honest with you, I thought that singing the name of the school was kind of silly. However, it was funny to hear the Host Club members singing falsetto when they were dressed as girls (except for Mori who was still playing a guy). And who knew that Mori had a nice singing voice? Anyway, the show might no longer exist if the Zuka Club succeeded in their plans to close down the Host Club. This episode could have been better for a really good anime series.moreless
  • This is one of my favourite episodes in Ouran Koukou Host Club. This humorous episode brought lots of laughter as I watched the ending. It may have strange new characters introduced, but the humour will take away any doubt of watching.moreless

I absolutely love how this episode played out. I must admit that I found the female students from Lobelia strange and weird at first (almost like female versions of Hikaru and Kaoru). They were feminists and were totally outraged at the host club (at the fact that its members charm girls with lies like all men do), especially since Haruhi (who they know is really a girl) somehow got mixed up with it. They vowed to get Haruhi out of the host club. Tamaki was really desperate and worried when Haruhi got mad with them. He feared that she would leave Ouran for Lobelia. So he thought of a way to convince her to stay with the club, and the idea was absolutely hilarious. It was something rather unexpected since the scene in the manga was a little different, nevertheless, it was a good change. This episode will make you laugh your pants off.moreless

    • Tamaki: (Gets out of bed) You guys are wrong! What productivity is there in a love between two women?! Why do you think God made Adam and Eve-?! (Slips on a banana peel)

    • (Beni-bara is with Haruhi)

      Hinagiku: Beni-bara, you're late.
Suzuran: You problematic person... And where did you pick up such a charming lady?
Beni-bara: Ah, just out there. I could tell immediately, even if she was wearing men's clothes. Behold, her lucid maiden eyes!
      Haruhi: Excuse me...

      (They all start inspecting her)

Hinagiku: My, her skin is so beautiful.
Suzuran: Really... she is great material that can be sharpened into something brilliant.

    • (Two new girls enter the host club)
Tamaki: (Wearing knights armor) Welcome, princesses. Ahh, even if the world would end. I want to be the knight who protects you with his life.
Suzuran: Oh my, "protecting with your life"? Don't you think that's quite arrogant of you? Do you think women will be happy with that?

  • NOTES (4)

  • ALLUSIONS (5)

    • Zuka Club: "Zuka" is a reference to the Takarazuka Revue, which is composed of all female members. See Wikipedia for more information.

    • OH! RAAN! Auctions: Parody of the Yahoo! auction website.

    • Kyouya's Laptop: Complete with it's own symbol of a pineapple, it's a parody of an Apple laptop.

    • "Heil, Zuka Club!": An obvious parody of the hailing gesture of the Nazi party. The flag has the same red, white, and black colors, but has the kanji symbol for "female".

    • Game systems: The handheld system Hikaru is playing in middle school looks suspiciously like a Gameboy Advance SP while the one he plays in high school looks like the original style Nintendo DS system.
