Tamaki: (Gets out of bed) You guys are wrong! What productivity is there in a love between two women?! Why do you think God made Adam and Eve-?! (Slips on a banana peel)
(Beni-bara is with Haruhi)
Hinagiku: Beni-bara, you're late.
Suzuran: You problematic person... And where did you pick up such a charming lady?
Beni-bara: Ah, just out there. I could tell immediately, even if she was wearing men's clothes. Behold, her lucid maiden eyes!
Haruhi: Excuse me...
(They all start inspecting her)
Hinagiku: My, her skin is so beautiful.
Suzuran: Really... she is great material that can be sharpened into something brilliant.
(Two new girls enter the host club)
Tamaki: (Wearing knights armor) Welcome, princesses. Ahh, even if the world would end. I want to be the knight who protects you with his life.
Suzuran: Oh my, "protecting with your life"? Don't you think that's quite arrogant of you? Do you think women will be happy with that?
Romanji Title: Lobelia jyogakuin no chousen
Manga Chapter(s): Volume 3 Chapter 10
Character Note - Tamaki: Tamaki is half French and half Japanese
Japanese Language - "Beni-bara", "Suzuran", and "Hinagiku": The Lobelia girls' nicknames for eachother are all types of flowers. Beni-bara is a red rose, Suzuran is a lily of the valley, and Hinagiku is a daisy.
Zuka Club: "Zuka" is a reference to the Takarazuka Revue, which is composed of all female members. See Wikipedia for more information.
OH! RAAN! Auctions: Parody of the Yahoo! auction website.
Kyoya's Laptop: Complete with it's own symbol of a pineapple, it's a parody of an Apple laptop.
"Heil, Zuka Club!": An obvious parody of the hailing gesture of the Nazi party. The flag has the same red, white, and black colors, but has the kanji symbol for "female".
Game systems: The handheld system Hikaru is playing in middle school looks suspiciously like a Gameboy Advance SP while the one he plays in high school looks like the original style Nintendo DS system.
