  • The Start of the most underrated show in the history of forever.

    9.0
For me, I'm not the one to think bad. Talent show has got to be a really fitting opening episode for the mark of an underrated series.

It startsot as Jimmy tries going on the talent show trying to get a section emmisation. When Tux wants to enter his jokes, however, Jimmy raps on it, causing Tux to leave. Aww! But, then, he reappers and starts DANCIN TIME!

This episode is rected to me as a good opening episode. It introduces the characters in a fluroshing manner, and the plot is exact to suprises.

The only thing standing from it's way was the TERRIBLE laugh track. Overall, it'sa good opening o on underrated show.moreless
  • Could it be? A live-action show that's actually perfect?! :!: We'll have to wait and see.

    9.6
"Re-animated" was a new way to take the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" concept and apply it to real life. When Cartoon Network aired it, the made for T.V. movie became a hit. Now, rather then dismiss this show as just a desperate attempt for a network to save some money, I decided I should at least Give it a chance before I write the series off. Turns out, this series might actually last for a while! I mean, the premiere episode is good and the show really is like a real-life cartoon! I mean, there are so many things that happen in Jimmy's life that don't happen in real life! But there are some things you can relate to. Like siblings that seem like they're from another planet, friends whose feelings can get hurt if you say the wrong things about them, even if they're true, and sometimes, you just got to have fun just for fun's sake. I'd rate this episode higher, except I don't know where I should put this shows expectations, so I'm setting it on pretty good ratings for now. If this show gets any better, I'll rate the following episodes higher, because that's the kind of guy I am! Enough said, true believers! ;)moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When Rhea had to throw the toothbrush at Matt, she really had to do it. She said that one time she threw it and it landed in his pocket, and another time it bounced off his head and landed behind him.

    • Outside the talent show, the signs say No yodeling and No fire breathing.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Robin: Mr. Roberts, why can't people just express themselves for the fun of it? Why does it have to be a contest where the losers feel like losers?
Mr. Roberts: Somebody doesn't have a talent.
      Robin: I have talent!
Mr. Roberts: You believe in yourself, and that's what's gonna make your act so unintentionally hilarious. Now, what should I put you down for?
Robin: Nothing! I don't think there should be a competition at all!
      Mr. Roberts: Tuba. Bold choice.

    • Jimmy: You know what? Once I win this talent show, everybody's gonna see me in a new light.
Craig: Dude, it's not all about you. You're not the one who's dying here!
Jimmy: Craig, you just bruised your toe.
Craig: You hear that, world? I'm dying!

    • Robin: This talent show is crazy. It's taking something that's supposed to be fun and turning into a competition.
Mrs. Roberts: Oh, sweetie, do you not have a talent?

  • NOTES (6)

    • International Airdates:
      - Denmark: June 2, 2008 on Cartoon Network

    • The animated versions of the cartoon characters are different from the TV movie, Re-Animated.

    • The show was constantly advertised as a 7:00 PM premiere, but the premiere was actually shown 3 times before this time, at 7:00 AM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM.

    • Running gag: Every time Robin says everyone should have fun at the talent show, they say she has no talent.

    • Paul Reubens is replaced by Carlos Alazraqui to voice Golly the Gopher.

    • From the original TV movie, Re-Animated, Craig and Robin were of Asian descent and their last names were Yoshida. Craig was played by Micah Karns and Robin was played by Eunice Cho. In this series, they have changed to African-American descent and their last names are altered to Wheeler. Craig is now played by Jon Kent Ethridge and Robin is now played by Tinashe Kachingwe.
