A few funny moments here, but this storyline was really random in premise. Visiting the housekeeper, really? I liked Stewart's car and how the horn was the only thing he worked on. Christopher Lloyd (Out of Practice executive producer) is good at creating these little quirky things and truly creating a setting ripe for comedy, but unfortunately the humor was pretty average here. Usually episodes that bring the whole family together are better, but this was not one of them. Funny, yes, but just average by this show's standards. Definitely one to skip if you had to miss a few.moreless

I'm sick and tired of the divorce.

I'm tired of the entire episode being about the parent's divorce. The cake ending up on the top of the cakeplate was the only funny thing that happened. Crystal is annoying, the father's fixer up car was stupid, and isn't it about time Ollie moves out? Need to see more of Regina.

The Barnes family take a field trip to see their former housekeeper whose in a retirement home.

The episode begins with Ben being nice to Crystal and she offering to cook breakfast for he and Oliver. Not that I was surprised, but Oliver reveals that he asked Crystal out after her surgery and she turned him down but picked up his dad instead, and his doing his best to avoid her.

Lydia pays a visit to Ben's apartment and is disappointed to see her boys bonding with Crystal, and is further shocked, when she catches all her kids and Stewart, plus Crystal, having dinner at the family's favorite resturant.

To cheer her up Ben suggest that the kids join her on the road trip to see their housekeeper, and Crystal encourages Stewart to go along.

On the road Ben gets a flat tire with Lydia and Regina on-board, and they have to hitch a ride on Stewart's vehicle that he is in the process of upgrading. The roof is leaking, you can see through the floor, but somehow they are able to make the trip.

Overall, a good episode.moreless
