Twelve uptown girls, four limos, and one jump out of an airplane to meet the man of their dreams. As this outrageous adventure begins, our twelve female contestants are transported in stretch limousines to a beautiful mansion in the hills of Los Angeles. They're all bubbling over with excitement, hoping to meet their bachelor and begin wining and dining to win his heart. The ladies are soon disappointed to find out that he is not there. Host JD Roberto gives them the good news: the bachelor they will be competing for is in Australia! However, the ladies have no idea where in Australia they'll have to go to find the man of their dreams. That night, host JD Roberto shows up at camp and tells Jack that he must eliminate four girls the next morning. Before elimination, each girl is given the opportunity to talk to Jack individually. They dress for success (some even donning their short skirts and high heels), and meet Jack outside of his private tent. Ten heartfelt pleas and one song (performed by bubbly Mary) later, Jack is left alone to decide which ladies to send home. The next morning, right before the vote, Marissa returns to camp. She's definitely feeling better, but still milks the attention from Jack. The other girls feel that she is using the illness to get closer to their hunky heartthrob. Before they have time to discuss the situation, the girls must pack up their stuff to either move onto the next campsite or to go home. They are all taken to the banks of the nearby river to meet their fate. Jack is obviously struggling with the decision, but decides to send Jillian, Laura, and Summer home. He does not have to choose a fourth, because Natasha decides to remove herself from the competition. With the elimination over, the eight remaining girls climb into the waiting canoes to continue their adventure.moreless
This is a very dramatic, but nice new show to enter the world. It's like Average Joe, except that the girls are competing for Vadim Dale, one man determined to take home the girl of his dreams.
Its been a while since I've watched the Pilot but this was simply: A fantastic new reality series that will change the 12 girls lives forever. In my opinion, the whole trick thing when the ladies were told at the mansion to meet Jack (Vadim Dale in real life) out in the Australian outback, just what a surprise, surprise! You don't get a TV show like this everyday. I'm quite a fan of reality because it's real, and the real words from a person. The women faced some incredible outback challenges on this episode as well as some creepy crawleys during the night. The elimination process where six girls were voted out was intense, and quite emotional. For now, I seem to like Natalie most as she has good personalities - and sense of humor. Now, in conclusion I had no regrets about seeing this, and I will continue watching because this is interesting, unlike many other boring TV shows out in the world. So, Outback Jack - Great attempt for a first episode. I was very impressed.moreless
