Does it deserve such high acclaim?

I'm yet to watch Outnumbered. I keep putting it off because there are so many other family comedies out there that I already enjoy. Is Outnumbered worth all the acclaim? Why should I give it a go? I worry it'll be just more of the same...

Yes, the improvisation of the children is just comic genius...

The kids are funny, rather than smart, thats what makes this a good show

I wasn't convinced but I gave it a chance and it is pretty good, if only all kids were actually this amusing!!!

In a time when there's really not that much good TV around, let alone comedies (let alone British...anything), Outnumbered really does stand out. It's believable, witty, and the kids are just so so funny! You can really see Andy Hamilton's humour coming through in this one. Highly recommended.

You're cheating yourself if you're not watching Outnumbered. I don't have kids and even I think it's brilliant. It's at least as good as Modern Family and much funnier than The Middle. The way the kids manipulate conversations and the parents' exasperated responses are priceless. I challenge you to watch one episode, and I guarantee you'll be hooked. The earlier you can get in on it, the better.

@ Katie Thompson 2: Care to elaborate? A simple answer of "no" is of little help, as would a simple answer of "yes" have been.

This show is amazing. It is brillianlty written, acted and improvised. The cast is amazing. The parents, played by Hugh and Claire are brilliant on reacting on the kids thoughts and actions. Its like they are a real family.

Tyger Drew Honey who playe Jake is a normal teen who is moody, interested in girls and is relatable. I do relate to him since I am about 3 years older than Jake.

Daniel Roche who plays Ben is the middle child. He is smart and very good sense od humor.

Ramona Merquez plays Kearn and Ramona is the best. She is funny, quick on her feet and I can see Ramona going places in the future and making it big in the industry.

This show is worth your time to watch and if you are not watching it Watch it. You are missing out on something great.
