Why was General Malaise in a prison inside Hector? Shouldn't he have been cast out with other bacteria through the bladder?
Since Drix is a cold pill the story of his childhood is illogical. Cold pills don't come in multiple amounts in bottles, but rather wrapped in foil and plastic cards in groups of one or two. This is seen in the movie, Osmosis Jones. (Response: A further note is in Osmosis Jones was that he entered Frank's body in a giant "real" cold pill, which was just his "ship". But since Ozzy was just a "baby" maybe this is just his early/fantasized memory of what really happened.)
Drix: (flashback) I was a happy pill then. The world was one swiftly moving conveyor belt. If life was no more than this, I was content. And then ... it happened. I was rudely dropped into a huge bottle and crushed beneath my brother and sister capsules! I could hardely move or speak. I tried to work my way up when ... suddenly ... I saw it ... The suffocating cotton! The foil-seal! The child-proof cap!!! But the worst was yet to come. No light ... No room. Oh, the horror! The horror!!!
General Malaise: Hurry! I want to drive the truck very fast and honk the horn!
The Mole: Whoever found out about my secret adrenaline supply...
Drix: You have a secret adrenaline supply?
The Mole: What? How did you find out?! Who told you this?! They will suffer!
Drix: You told me.
(Gen. Malaise goes into mitosis)
Malaise: Sacre Synthesis!
Malaise 2: Ah, Sacre Synthesis yourself.
General 1: Do we all agree not to let the prisoners escape?
Every General: Oui!
General 1: Well I would like to point out they're indeed escaping!!
Hector's Mom: Hector, did you brush this morning?
Hector: Uh, sure. Uh-huh.
Hector's Mom: Then why is your toothbrush dry?
Hector: Man! It's like living with the FBI!
General Malaise's outfit is now black, plus the soldiers' uniform and design is slightly changed. The soldier in the brown outfit who planned to rescue Malaise in the teaser is also completely new.
While in prison, General Malaise mentioned he wrote the 26th chapter of his autobiography. 26 is the number of this episode.
Drix reveals he is claustrophobic.
This is the second time we see Drix as a baby.
This episode was the series finale.
The only main characters that appear in this episode are Ozzy, Drix, General Malaise, and Hector.
Second appearance and return of General Malay since "Sugar Shock".
General Malaise was locked up at the 'Isle of Elbow'. This is a reference to his obvious similarity to Napoleon Bonaparte, who was exiled near the end of his life to the Isle of Elba.
Episode Title: Journey to the Center of the Tooth
Journey to the Center of the Tooth could be a reference to the title of a Jules Verne book, Journey to the Center of the Earth.
