  • I bet many of us have heard many times about how bad cigarettes are. I guess we wouldn't want to watch a cartoon telling us that message again right? Well, this episode proves how great O&D delivers the meessagemoreless

For a show like Ozzy & Drix, cigarettes can be a great idea for an episode. Luckily, the writers turned this into probably, the best episode in the series. Nick O' Teen, aside from the clever name (Nick, Of Teen[agers]?) portrays the idea of Nicotine amazingly, although he somewhat reminds me of HIM in PPG. Anyway, this episode is also one of the more darker ones in the series, and the first time I watched I felt very... tense. The plot was great, and it's clear they didn't care if this one was offensive. Words like "Smoking" "Cigarettes" and stuff are all over the place. At the end of it all, this episode probably lives up the potential of the concept. A series classic.moreless
  • Ozzy and Drix say "Don't smoke"!

This episode Fine Example why I watch this show because it shows us how Cigarettes can get into our system and attack us and the people we love.

Hector only tryed a Cigarette because he wanted to be in the 'cool' crowd. Trust me the 'cool' crowd isn't cool it's full of drugys trying to make other people smoke like them.

Ozzy and Drix did a good job defeated this Nick O'Teen and how they did it was orginal and fantastic!

This episode proves NOT to do drugs or smoke or look what will happen to you...moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • Just after Hector decides not to take the cigarette, how did the eye channel see the back of Hector as he was walking away?

    • In this episode, at the end, when Ozzy looks at Nick O'Teen, his goatee disappears for about a second.

    • The Christine shown in the pleasure tube has black eyebrows, and the real Christine definitely has brown ones.

    • When the Mayor says 'I've got to get to the office' he has his hair spiked up and a Metabolica T-shirt, but when he's running down the hallway seconds later his hair is back in its customary style and the shirt's gone.

    • In the movie Osmosis Jones, Frank smoked (he said that he hiked to the cigarette warehouse), and obviously Ozzy knew Nick, but none of the cells in Frank's body were black and zombie-like... (Response: It's very likely that when Nick took care of Frank, he saw no need to stay. I guess that's why everyone in Frank is normal.)

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Ozzy: Remember when Hector couldn't stop eating mondo chocolate bars?
Spryman: (In a dream state) Oh, mondo chocolate bars.
Ozzy: He ate them until he hurled and he still wanted more. His mom had to cut off the candy.
      Spryman: Bad mom.

    • (Nick O'Teen singing at the Metabollica concert)
Nick O'Teen: Hello There hi,I'm new to this place. Please don't be alarmed by my oily embrace. Invite me in, I'll warm my feet by your fire, I'll just hang around until you expire. Face the facts, it's a chemical reaction. You can't fight this kind of attraction. I'm Nick O'Teen (nicotine) sick and cool and unclean, although general in between. You're mine, you're mine... You're mine, baby.

    • (Ozzy looks at the pleasure tube and sees Christine's face)
Ozzy: Hey, check it out! (Teasing sing song voice) Hector likes Christine!

    • Ozzy: (Facing Nick's cronies with the dog) Guess it's just you and me, boy. (Dog runs away) Smart dog.

    • Ozzy: Hey! Nick! This town's a no-smoking area!
Nick: (Obviously not impressed) Yeah, that was funny about the first five hundred times I heard it...

    • Drix: What is this city coming to? A pill dressed as a girl just isn't safe anymore!

    • Hector: Seriously? You haven't washed your gym clothes for three months?
Travis: Yeah. My shorts can stand up on their own now. But dude, the record is SIX months and I am GOIN' FOR THE GOLD, baby!

    • Tar: Somebody knows you!
      Nick: Somebody's thinking again!

  • NOTES (1)

    • Tar and Carbon Monoxide's character models were also used for the characters Tarmack and Aquamaria, respectively, for the WB series, Static Shock.
