    Yes, it's real. I watched during the mid 80s on TV. http://video.google.com should have clips of it.

    If you look at the show's full summary, you'll see that this cartoon did exist. First, the video games which were so popular, and then the TV series based on the characters.

    Well, it wouldn't be the first time a show that didn't exist had a guide here But I can assure you it was a show. I watched it when it originally aired, being a big fan of video games
