Parallel 9

Show Summary

Parallel 9 is a children's entertainment show aired on BBC1 for the United Kingdom. The show consists of three series produced by an independent production company at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire during 1992 to 1994. The plot of the series is basically space fiction as the main characters relay an interaction between human beings and aliens. P9, as it is famously called, renders in 64 episodes a unique plot on how aliens from different planets conduct activities with Earthlings. The aliens only interact with the human beings during the show's airing time to make a real-time effect. The setting is that of a prison dimension during the first series and a space station named the P9 Station during the second and third series. Notable characters include Mercator, the old alien prince, as well as Zee and Dr. Kovan. It is a show noted for the constant replacement of main characters and plot, despite the same branding.
