  • A very well done episode and also very, very scary to me.

This is one episode I would very well recommend to tell someone to watch that was interested int he show, it also taught don't get tattoos with the devil or hell on it. Honestly this proves why this is the best 'ghost' show on television they don't just go in to prove there's ghosts or just say a prayer and leave the clients alone they care for their clients and their well-being and truly want the best for them. Though when the man said he threw up black tar kinda wished he'd scooped a bit up and put it in a baggy so someone would believe him and give him credibility.moreless
  • Ryan and the team are called in to deal with a family, and more specifically a father tormented by a negative entity that threatens their safety.

    9.0
The client in this case is a father who is tormented by a negative entity in his home. He and his family have been subjected to frightening paranormal events, and he seems to be the focus of this entity's hate - with the entity encouraging him to commit rather disturbing acts.

It's obvious that the father's not so squeaky clean past may have something to do with attracting the entity, so when Ryan finds out what the father was being instructed to do, he immediately sent him to counseling and had him tested for substance abuse. Once the father was cleared - they conducted the usual tests. There was no overwhelming paranormal evidence, but it was clear that this man needed help. They were able to get a priest in to do a deliverance ceremony to cleanse the demon that was tormenting him. It seemed to help, but what I was glad for was that they managed to get on going psychological help for him as well rather than believing that the ceremony was a stop gap and fixed everything that was wrong To me, this episode fully demonstrates how dedicated the team is to help their clients. They don't just do a religious ceremony and say "all done. You should be fine now, so we're going to leave. Bye". They make sure that everything that can be done to help them is done, and they also follow up with their clients to make sure that they're continuing to do well. Love this show and I can't wait until the next episode.moreless

    • Ryan: Why are you here?
      Ovilus: Priest. Priest. Sorry. Priest.
Ryan: It's like the third time it's said 'Priest' in this room. (to the entity) Are you worried about a priest coming?
      Ovilus: Worry. Worry.
Ryan: I'm speaking now to whatever force is in this house. If this is a diabolocal force, give us now a sign of your presence! What kind of force are you?
      Ovilus: Demon. Demon.
Ryan: (freaking out) Are you serious?!

    • Ryan: (using an Ovilus device to try an communicate with the dark spirit) I'm speaking to the spirit within this house. I ask that you now come forward and speak with us. Why are you here?
      Ovilus: Pain. Pain. Remember. Leave.

    • Katrina: (discussing their client's thoughts of violence against himself and others) In your opinion, when people have these kind of homicidal thoughts, is it just that they need, like, professional help, or is this related to dark forces?
Ryan: I mean, look, if we believe there's bad forces in the world, I defnitely believe it's possible for spirits to manipulate others into harming one another. But the choice still lies in the person.
