AIRED:
Organising the Chamber of Commerce annual charity "do" sounds an important job. To Leonard Swindley it looks like the perfect chance to ingratiate himself with the President. Swindley's boss, Mr Parbold appoints him social secretary. Swindley is seething with ideas. An evening with Mozart and the Municipal Ladies String Quartet. the Lyceum Mixed Choral Society rendering evergreen favourites like "The Road to Mandalay" and "The Song of the Flea" to name but a few. Parbold and the President find Swindley's suggestions lack one majic ingrediant - girls. They would like, in fact they demand, a mannequin parade.
