AIRED:
Tony and Mike discuss the top sports stories including: their thoughts on the Mavericks winning game four of the Western Conference Finals and taking a 3-1 lead over the Thunder, in a game where the Thunder blew a 15-point lead and lost in overtime; their thoughts on Bruins goalie Tim Thomas' performance in the team's series against the Lightning; their thoughts on if it's a bad sign that Rafael Nadal needed five sets to advance in the opening round of the French Open; their thoughts on Albert Pujols not speaking to reporters after hitting his first home run in 105 at bats; their thoughts on the reports that say the NFL will begin fining teams, as well as players, for illegal hits; their thoughts on which woman they'd like to see win the Indy 500: Danica Patrick or Simona de Silvestro. Later Tony and Mike play Toss Up!moreless

I would like to see Danica Patrick win the Indy 500, it would be a good story in a sport that is declining in popularity year after year, but I know that is not going to happen. She is simply not a great driver, and is really only known because of her appearance. I like Wilbon almost essentially acknowledging that though.

I also am sick of the show refusing to give other sports the light and time of day though. It is the French Open, it is a big deal and they could not at least talk about tennis a little bit other than a few seconds about Rafael Nadal? If it is not Nadal or Federer Tony Kornheiser will just brush off the idea. Tennis is a big deal, start talking about it!moreless
