Tony and Mike discuss the top sports stories including: are the Steelers in trouble, because of their loss to the Chiefs and also because Ben Roethlisberger suffered a concussion and their back-up quarterback, Charlie Batch, was also injured; are the Bengals back to their old ways, after fumbling away a win and losing to the Raiders; are the Saints and the Colts the two best teams in the NFL, after both teams remain undefeated; if the NFL season was over after week 11, would Brett Favre be the MVP; what was Les Miles thinking, when he told his LSU quarterback to spike the football with only one second left. Ron Jaworski, ESPN NFL Analyst and Monday Night Football color commentator, joins Tony and Mike for Five Good Minutes.moreless
This was the Monday episode of Pardon the Interruption, the show that comes along at 5:30 every weekday, the perfect time right after dinner when you're getting ready for prime time television to start. Tony Kornheiser, who along with Skip Bayless and Woody Paige, is one of the few good analysts on ESPN, but Michael Wilbon occasionally has good insight.
The episode had some funny moments including Tony suggesting that he wanted to see Susan Boyle in a nightie (ugh!). Ron Jaworski guests too often on this show so I would have rather seen a more interesting Five Good Minutes guest.moreless
