Tony and Mike discuss the top sports stories including: Rex Ryan saying that he would have won some Super Bowls, if he had got the Chargers head coaching job in 2007, which Norv Turner responded by saying if he wonders Ryan is counting those with the ones he's won with the Jets, all of this smack-talk is in preparation of the Chargers/Jets game; their thoughts on the St. Louis Cardinals winning game one of the World Series 3-2 over the Texas Rangers and if game one was all about the managing from Tony LaRussa and Ron Washington; their thoughts on Bill Guerin, a former NHL player, saying that the NBAPA should settle and end the lockout, while also saying that it isn't worth it. Later Tony and Mike play What's the Word? Ron Jaworski, Monday Night Football color commentator, joins Tony and Mike for Five Good Minutes.

    Yes, Norv Turner did win the battle of words with a great comeback, even if his comedic timing is really nothing to write home about. It was smart for Rex Ryan to not respond back though. Just get back to football.

    Ron Jaworski was not bad this week, but we do not need him on once a week. He is not that entertaining, just because he is buddies with Tony Kornheiser is no excuse.moreless
