AIRED:

Tony and Mike discuss the top sports stories including: the Texas Rangers winning game five of the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals and taking a 3-2 series lead and if the managerial miscues of Tony LaRussa cost the Cardinals the game; their thoughts on the Ravens losing to the Jaguars 12-7 and if the loss should question the Ravens notion that they're a top team in the NFL; their thoughts on Ndamukong Suh saying he did not taunt Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan during his injury in the Lions loss; their thoughts on Terrell Owens holding an open workout, that was attended by both ESPN and the NFL Network, but not a single NFL team's scout. Later Tony and Mike play Toss Up! Theo Epstein, Chicago Cubs President, joins Tony and Mike for Five Good Minutes.

I have no interest in Theo Epstein's phoned in gratitude toward his time with the Boston Red Sox. I could have been a better GM if I had that kind of of payroll and money to throw around. Cubs fans, enjoy him giving out another John Lackey like contract this offseason.

A huge dropoff from yesterday's good 10th anniversary show, but all in all, nothing either man said upset me that much.moreless
