Episode Summary

Sarah and Mark discuss the idea of having a baby. Amber receives a promotion which makes her question her qualifications. Elsewhere, Zoe's behaviour makes Joel and Julia have second thoughts about their adoption agreement.

A good catch-up episode

This episode focused on a couple of stories and for once, Adam and Kristina weren't one of the big ones, although they did appear in this episode. Adam and Crosby trying to maintain the flow of business, with Adam again trying to get Crosby to step up to the plate. Crosby was actually pretty centric in this episode with Jasmine also mentioning and eventually agreeing that she will move in with Dr. Joe. He took this extremely well in the end. Maturing at a rapid pace. Although I am sad to see that they couldn't work it out, Jasmine and Crosby have been a major storyline this season. Where this is all going, not sure, but it has been real, honest, and dramatic. Amber on the other hand doubts her abilities when Bob promotes her. Her feelings about the whole situation came through the screen again. She exuded the frustration her character was feeling. Bob sets her straight though. Meanwhile, Sarah meets Mark's friends for the first time, which, from experience, can be an anxiety-provoking scenario. Sarah does well though. Yet, at the same time, she is flustered with how to approach having a baby with Mark. She is older, she's not going to be able to have children for much longer, and Mark may or may not have realized this. Again, I'm not sure where this is going, but at this point, I'm not sure if this is going to last. Finally, Joel, Julia, and Zoey round out this episode. This has been a complicated story arc, but it should be coming to an end soon. Again it's still iffy on whether Julia will get this baby or not.
