  • An amazing episode - pointing out the happiness, sadness, heartbreak, and hardships,in interpersonal relationships.

I wrote in an earlier review about Max - Adam and Kristina's son; Haddie's brother - and how I found him to be annoying, at times. But in this episode, I began to understand that he is a child with a serious illness, autism; one which his parents confirmed, will be with him for the rest of his life. The title of the episode - Qualities and Difficulties, pertained most directly to Max, explaining the good and the bad in his persona. Then we saw Crosby, desperately trying for forgiveness, and at least for the time being, not being let off the hook. Sarah is also dealing with difficulties in her day to day existence - but her quality/ability to write, was highlighted for her. Julia and Joel are the couple, it would seem, that have the most going for them - but they have had their struggles, and will continue to have them as they undertake the role of parents to Sydney. And Jasmine, who was recently accused by Crosby of being too "in control" - finally breaks down. I suspect the next several episodes will be fascinating to watch.moreless

the video is great- the moving of the various plots is amazing- ... While more involved than my "Real Life" it certainly could be reflecting today's time - from the perspective of mostly married not quite middle aged relatives and friends. It teaches so many lessons.. and makes us think

... I hope it stays on for a very long time ! PLEASE ?

and-- PLEASE do not substitute other shows for Tuesday at 10PM..(as you did last night- I was so dissapointed ) this should ONLY BE the timeslot for Parenthood !

Thank you for letting me comment and write my 100 wordsmoreless
