  • Allusions

    • After seeing Dr. Pankow scrubbing the floor, Parker says, "What's up, Doc?" This, of course, is a famous line from Bugs Bunny.

    • While watching Ms. Musso take Dr. Pankow's tape, the Buds say, "She's going to the videotape!" This quote references a catchphrase of baseball announcer Warner Wolf: "Let's go to the videotape!"

    • Two of the placards on the State Education Symposium board read: D. Gillis and M.G. Krebs. These names reference the two main characters of The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, Dobie Gillis and Maynard G. Krebs.

    • After figuring out Dr. Pankow's plan, the Buds say: (Parker) "S.E.S.", (Mikey) "Lies", (Jerry) "And videotape". This alludes to the film, Sex, Lies, and Videotape.

    • Jerry accidentally records a Three Stooges film over the surveillance video of Dr. Pankow. Parker says, "At least it wasn't a Shemp", referencing most fans' least favorite Stooge.

    • Parker says, "I haven't been this baffled by a big turnout since Look Who's Talking", referencing the 1989 film.

    • Dr. Pankow makes a direct reference to a scene from the film Papillon and star, Steve McQueen, during his Home Economics lecture.
