At the end of the closing credits, Jerry's voice can be heard from inside a closed locker saying, "Mr. Lewis? Mr. Randall? Mr. Phillips? Hello!?" This is a reference to show producer, Clyde Phillips, whose company graphic is shown immediately after the credits.
Shelly tells Dr. Pankow her last name is 'Nemec' in order to avoid association with Parker. This, of course, is the same last name as the show's star, Corin Nemec.
Mr. Lewis tells his friends to synchronize their Bulovas, exactly like Parker tells the buds to synchronize their Swatches (complete with arm-triangle).
While Kubiac is sitting on the floor, he tells Parker, "There's always room for Jell-O." This is a slogan used in advertising for Jell-O brand desserts.
Music: "The Doctor" by The Doobie Brothers
The name 'Diane' is written on the door to the English classroom. Diane English is a writer/director/producer known for creating strong female characters, not unlike the teacher featured in this episode.
Frank the vampire: Frank has the ability to appear and disappear at will, similar to that of Dracula in Bram Stoker's novel.
Jerry dreams that he is fighting inside the game, Altered Beast. Later, he can be seen playing the same game on a Sega Genesis. Also, a line from this game--"Welcome to your doom!"--can be heard throughout the episode.
Frank the vampire: Frank can be seen hanging upside-down with his eyes closed, not unlike Dracula and others of his kind.
Ms. Musso incorrectly states Frank's position as "Student Obedient Helper". His title is actually, "Special Obedient Helper".
The episode begins and ends with the Buds turning lights on and off with "The Clapper".
When Sgt. Melman points at his picture of Arsenio Hall, the famous "Woof, woof, woof" from The Arsenio Hall Show can be heard in the background.
Parker and Mikey can be seen painting over a graffito of the name, Clyde. This is a nod to the show's Executive Producer, Clyde Phillips.
Frank the vampire: After Frank presses his face to the copy machine, the resulting image is a silhouette of a bat.
Continuity error: The dialogue from the scene in which Ms. Musso and Dr. Pankow share a park bench, and the spy-cam video of the same event don't match.
