April and Andy invite everyone in the office to a dinner party to celebrate their almost-one-month anniversary.
Ben has to decide if he wants to go back to his job in Indianapolis or take a position working for Chris in Pawnee and wants Leslie's opinion but she remains non-committal and suggests he make a pros and cons list instead.
Trying to move on post-Chris, Ann heads to a singles mixer and after a few awkward encounters is relieved to find that Donna is also in attendance. Donna is less enthusiastic about attending a mixer with a friend, as she considers dating a zero-sum sport.
People gather for April and Andy's party and Leslie accidentally discover the real plan for the evening -- April and Andy are getting married. Positive that it's too early in their relationship, Leslie is desperate to get them to reconsider.
At the mixer, Ann continues to struggle when Donna begrudgingly comes to her rescue and agrees to coach her in the ways of flirting.
After Leslie spills the news of April and Andy's pending nuptials to the rest of the Parks department, Tom tries to secure a position as Andy's best man but becomes jealous when Andy agrees and then immediately asks Ron, Chris and a few others to share the title.
Leslie's attempts to foil the couple's plan do not succeed and the ceremony goes off without a hitch.
Tom, determined to make the best toast at the reception, is frustrated yet again as April's sister and Andy's grandmother overshadow him.
Andy gives a speech about doing what makes you happy and Leslie takes the words to heart as she gets up the nerve to tell Ben she thinks he should stay in Pawnee.
