This felt like a sketchy, slightly ridiculous episode of Parks and Recreation, but if any show has the ability to get away with doing a strange episode every now and then, it's this one. Boy, there were a ton of laughs here, and even though I thought the humor here was a little more broad than normal (especially compared to the second season), there was still a lot to love here.

I have to give much props to the characters that the writers have introduced to us here. Every character, from Leslie to Ann and even the new characters, Ben and Chris, are getting a chance to shine here. Of Rob Lowe and Adam Scott, I feel like Adam Scott isn't getting nearly as much recognition, but he's very very similar to the character he played in Party Down. He's not necessarily the funniest character in the show, but he's certainly the most charming and has the most potential to grow into a long-lasting cast member.

And as for everyone else? Plenty to go around. It's difficult for me to figure out what was the highlight of the night: seeing Rob Lowe stare into the mirror in fear, saying "Stop pooping!" or perhaps the touching little scene where Andy kissed April on the forehead despite her being sweaty with the flu.. or maybe it was Leslie's insane non-sequiturs that lead to some of the biggest laughs. We also get Ben introduced to a group of people as Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap and Andy and Ron sharing a Meat Tornado from a restaurant and an ol' toss of the pigskin.

There's just so much to love in this show. We also have a long-lasting plot in the form of the Harvest Festival and I'm glad the episode was able to combine some randomness with the actual story. People should really rate this show higher and continue giving it a chance. Just some great comedy here tonight.moreless

Let me start off by saying I loved this episode. Parks & Rec is definitely one of the most underrated shows out there, and watching this episode made me appreciate this show so much more. We've got amazing character interactions (way better than the premiere in my opinion), hilarious one liners, and it has been better than the Office on more than one occasion and this is one of those times.

Amy Poehler was just hysterical here, as was the character, Ron Swanson that always brings laughs to the table. Watching Ann lose it was hysterical and it helped with the development. April continues to be my favorite and this episode definitely is a prime example of that. I really liked the Andy/April development tonight, it gave some fans hope for their relationship.

Of course you can't have a Parks & Rec episode without a scene with flat out insults to Jerry for no reason, and we got that here as well. I was also more accepting of Rob Lowe tonight, he was funny as well. To sum it up, if you're not watching this show already, start watching because this show is hilarious.moreless

    • Leslie: (after everybody realizes that Leslie is really sick) I'm not sick, I just have allergies, OK? I took a Claritin, and i threw that up, so I took another one, I threw that up, and then I took a third and it stayed down. I'm getting better.
    • Leslie: Ben Wyatt! Hello.
      Ben: Hi, Leslie.
Leslie: (shaking his hand) Good to see you.
Ben : Wow, you're really burning up.
Leslie: Can I get some money for the cab that I took over here please?
      Ben: Sure, how much?
Leslie: I'm not sure. I looked at the meter and it had Egyptian hieroglyphs on it. Do you know the exchange rate?
    • Ron: I like Andy. I am surrounded by a lot of women in this department. And that includes the men.
