Season 3 Episode 11

Jerry's Painting

Aired Tuesday 8:00 PM Apr 28, 2011 on NBC

  • Trivia

    • This episode marks the first of many in which Leslie refers to the ban on government employees dating each other as "[Chris's] rule". Shouldn't Leslie already be aware that it's a major conflict of interest in any organization? Or has Pawnee's government never clarified that?

    • Marcia's complaint to Chris was that the painting contains an "obscene depiction of bestiality" because of how the centaur woman had to have been conceived.  Apparently, that wasn't her real concern because she accepted the repainted version of a male centaur without reiterating her conception complaints.

    • In the previous episode, Chris explained to Leslie that Ben would not be able to date anyone in the government because he oversees every department.  In this episode, he dismisses Leslie's concern when he sets up Ben with someone in the county commissioner's office because the departments are not connected.
