  • Leslie has a party

    8.0
This episode had some good laughs. I thought that Leslie tried too hard to impress Justin too hard, It was kind of like Leslie earlier in the season or Season two. I also thought the whole meeting she had with the government people from Pawnee was a little much. However like any great show a "lesser" episode (I use that term loosely) is better than most shows great episodes. I liked the scenes between Andy and April. It was a step in the right direction to them being together. It's funny how Andy was "hurt." I liked how April cheered him up. It's something she wouldn't have done before. My favorite part is when Ron brought the devil eggs and only brought it himself. What I like about Ron is when Leslie was talking about the courses and Leslie told him how many courses his reaction was great. I also liked how Andy was dressed up. Something about when Andy is dressed up is amusing. While this episode might not have been as good, it's still funny.moreless
  • More Justin

    9.0
I loved Leslie trying to impress Justin in this episode and the various reactions that he inspires in the Parks and Rec Department. Tom's man crush on Justin is great and I loved him having to look up facts about India in order to convince Jason he is more worldly. Mark and Andy both hating the guy is great and I loved Andy's bit about him walking on the Berlin Wall with the king of Africa, because it outlined why people like Justin are so very annoying. His and April's budding relationship hit a road block when he was being mocked by her two gay boyfriends which outlined how their age and situation may cause problems for them in the future. The whole sub plot with the teachers fit into the episode really well and I loved seeing Leslie's Hoarder-esque house.moreless
  • Hilarious, but needs more development. It wasn't memorable, too.

    8.5
"Leslie's House," was a funny episode. It wasn't memorable by any means and this show needs more development to be engaging. This show is very funny and original despite being like "The Office." Tom Haverford, Andy, Ron Swanson, and April continue to be great characters that are great. The tension in scenes between Tom and Wendy were great to watch and it was a good idea to get characters that haven't been seen in a while to Leslie's house. Mark and Ann, however, continue to be worthless characters and they aren't funny. Ann, especially can get very boring. Despite it's flaws, "Leslie's House," overall was a great episode but lacks interesting plot movement.moreless

    • Leslie: Look, I'm really sorry. I put a new romance in front of an old friendship.
      Tom: Okay.
Leslie: I put a beautiful man in front of an adorable man-child.
      Tom: You're ruining it.
Leslie: I put a big white stallion in front of a little brown pony.
      Tom: Totally uncalled for.

    • Ron: If I wanted to bring a large number of deviled eggs, but I didn't want to share them with anyone else, can you guarantee fridge space?

    • Tom: How could you invite Wendy when Ron's here? He's gonna wrap her up in his mustache and take her home!

    • Leslie: It's every girl's dream to ask a dude how their date went under penalty of perjury!

    • Mark: I can't wait to talk to Justin again. Last time, he told me about how he snorkled with whale sharks in Madagascar. That was after I told him that I sometimes go swimming at the Y.

    • Ann: (after seeing the mess in Leslie's house) I think I need to call Child Services and have Leslie taken away from herself.

    • Leslie: Oh! Hey, Tom. I'm having an A-list dinner party for Justin, and you, out of all my friends, come from the most distant and exotic land.
      Tom: South Carolina?

    • Justin: You have got to try this.
Leslie: (takes a taste of a dish before her) Oh, that's really good.
      Justin: Isn't it great?
      Leslie: Mmm-hmmm!
      Justin: It's camel stomach.
Leslie: (looking a bit alarmed) Is it?
      Justin: I'm teasing. I'm teasing. It's chicken.
Waiter: Would you like to try the camel stomach?
      Leslie: No.

    • Man: How will you decide who's classes will be cut?
Leslie: By attendance and student evaluations. So just make sure that your students leave with a smile.
Man: My class is called "Coping with terminal illness".
Leslie: Hopefully your attendance is good. No...hopefully it's bad.
