Show Summary

  • New Series
The title says it all: Party Animals. This program delves into the party politics, and the partying habits of several twenty-somethings within and around Westminster. Originally conceived as a comedy about New Labour's spin tactics, this show has been updated to comment on the culture of David Cameron's 'New Conservatives'. The drama gives viewers a glimpse into the world of Westminster and includes Labour and Conservative characters, as well as lobbyists and journalists. The two main characters are brothers Scott and Danny. Their father was a Labour MP and Danny has followed in his footsteps - he is now a political researcher for Jo Porter MP. Danny spends his days working hard and fawning over the office intern, Kirsty. However, his brother Scott, an increasingly dissatisfied lobbyist, spends his days partying just as hard as he works and can get any girl he wants. Which ultimately causes trouble when he finally falls for one girl, a Conservative up-and-coming, Ashika Chandrimani, though journalist Sophie still has her eye on him.moreless

    • Great First Series/Season!
After the first season, I'm thoroughly impressed (and a little annoyed).  I thought each episode was really well done and balance...
