Call the press because Roman was actually funny in this episode. I really hated his character at first but it looks as if his foul-mouth potty humor might be growing on me.
Story wise this was pretty weak, with no real explanation or point to the banquet, and a lot of failed jokes in the process. You can't go wrong with a Rob Corddry guest spot, but if you blinked you probably missed him. Rick Fox was another enjoyable guest star and I liked how Constance only knew him as "the actor".
Party Down may not get a second season, and quite frankly, it is a good show, but I would not be too disappointed.moreless
