Party Monster

Show Summary

Party Monster, released in 2003, is an independent film that is solely based on the non-fiction memoir "Disco Bloodbath," written by James St. James. Documenting the events leading up to the era of the infamous "Club Kids," this film focuses on the lives of two drug addicts who lead and promote an alternative lifestyle that did indeed sweep the nation in the late 1980's. Featuring Macaulay Culkin, Seth Green, Chloe Sevigny and Marilyn Manson, this film is considered by critics to be an accurate portrayal of the wax and wane of Michael Alig, now a convicted murderer, and James St. James, Alig's cohort, the two main characters in the film.
