    Alison Lohman (born September 18, 1979) is an American actress who was born in Palm Springs, California. Although her family has no show business connections, she has been acting since age 9. Her father Gary Lohman is an architect and her mother Diane Lohman is a bakery owner. Lohman, although she's infamous for being shy, is also a singer, and has performed as a featured solo vocalist for Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and the Desert Symphony. Her first theatrical role was playing Gretyl in "The Sound of Music", at Palm Desert's McCallum Theater. Two years later, at the age of 11, she won the Desert Theater League's award for "Most Outstanding Actress in a Musical" for her role in "Annie". When she was a senior in high school, she won an award from the National Foundation of the Advancement of the Arts. After graduating, she was offered a scholarship to NYU' Tisch School, but instead she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a film career. As well as her film roles, Lohman has had major roles in the TV series Tucker and Pasadena. She played an older teen pretending to be a fourteen year-old in the movie Matchstick Men. In real life she was 22 at the beginning of the film's shooting, and 23 at the end of it. Lohman was one of a few actresses sought to play the title role in a female version of "Robyn Hood". Keira Knightley won the title role instead. It was re-named Princess of Thieves. Lohman is a vegetarian. She has also admitted to having a strong environmental streak.moreless

She attended Wesleyan University and graduated in 1978 and moved back to New York and developed her skills working in daytime television and theater. This role earned her 3 Emmy nominations and 2 Emmy Awards as Best Actress. Dana moved onto starring roles in movies Such as Exit to Eden (1994). She portrayed Andrea Beaumont in the 1993 animated feature film Batman: Mask of the Phantasm based on the popular TV show Batman: The Animated Series. She was later cast as Lois Lane in Superman: The Animated Series. She reprised her role as Lois Lane for Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and The Batman. She appeared in Pasadena and had multiple guest appearances on shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Boston Legal, Kojak, Related, The L Word, and Battlestar Galactica. She joined Desperate Housewives in the 2007-2008 season as Katherine Mayfair. She also appeared as FBI agent Jordan Shaw in a two-part story on the series Castle. Delany left Desperate Housewives to star in the new ABC series Body of Proof in Spring 2011. Dana serves on the board of the Scleroderma Research Foundation and is a board member of the arts advocacy organization Creative Coalition. Balthazar is not only an actor but also a recording artist and a producer. He produced nine tracks on the hiphop band Mannish album Audio Sedative in 1996. In 2004, Scott Thomas and himself (composing the duo Ringside) released their first record.
