Star crossed lovers. This is a story that has been talked about for years. If reincarnation exists are we drawn to significant others we've known in our pasts? Do we have a connection with these people? This is what this episode is establishing.

Interesting and times great tension, but everything from the standpoint of the story seems a little haphazard. I'm not sure what they could have done to right the ship on this, but the story seems about three quarters complete. I do like how they put together the histories this time better than in the Pilot. At least the trail makes more sense. Otherwise they seem to spend a lot of time clicking in and out of these past existences. Very tricky to pull off and not really well done here.

I still say this is a show with a lot of promise. Unfortunately as this is the finale and we'll see no more we won't find out. There are plans to burn through the rest of the episodes produced sometimes this summer on FOX. The main two characters are pretty strong and there is some chemistry there. The way in which the stories were put together don't quite seem to work. Of course killing it on the third episode would seem to make it difficult to do that anyways. I have to give it up to FOX. Let's put a show on Thursday night in the strongest hour on television in a time slot that almost killed Fringe and see how it does? Any predictions? Thanks for reading...moreless

And hopefully you too! This episode showed that Past Life can somewhat shy away from the cliche episodes of every procedural show. They shook things up a bit with having two people having the same regressions. Them meeting randomly at a grocery store really shows you there is a fate. It's scary when you think about it, everything is already planned out but as Price put it, it is also comforting. I hope this show doesn't get canceled before it can really put on a good show. All in all I enjoyed watching it I just wish that more people hope for the same thing.moreless
