Opposites collide as Paula explores Fire and Ice. Figure skater, Dorothy Hamill, leaves the ice to make sizzling fajitas. Paula has ice sculptors and fire-eaters. Then, Ben and Jerry's honors Paula with her own ice cream flavor.
Sea life is the focus of this party! Special guests (the US Navy and Paula's brother) help her cook up pasta putanesca, beer battered fish, and crab martinis. Paula adds a pirate's dessert--yo ho ho bread pudding and a pineapple sorbet with hidden treasure.
Paula brings the delicious tastes of a country fair to the studio. She makes candied apples, turkey legs, and chili dogs. Dunk tanks, bobbing for apples, and blue ribbons are all part of the country charm.
Paula travels back in time to visit decades of food favorites. The 1960's brings gogo boots and fondue. The '70's bring a special Brady guest (Christopher Knight) to make a meat and potatoes dinner. Bobby Deen shows up to cook his favorite meal from his '80's chidhood--ghoulash. And, baby grandson Jack stops by to watch Paula name a new dish for the future after him.moreless
