PB&J Otter - On TV or on DVD?

Would you rather have PB&J Otter on TV or on DVD?

My choice would be DVD. Tv would be nice, but I'd get consistant quality if I had it on DVD.

Oh, either would be over-the-moon amazing, but definitely DVD if possible. For one thing, no bugs or other annoying logos. For another, no splitscreens/voiceovers during the closing credits. And finally, like you said, the quality.

I don't think, though, there's ever really any chance we'd see it on TV again in the United States, though, at least not on Disney. And the reason is that Cartoon Pizza / Jumbo Pictures is mad about Disney using their characters in the "We are Family" music video.

So that's why Stanley was taken off the air (though I don't like that show) I hope they can come to an agreement or work something out.

Yeah, and JoJo's Circus. It's also why when Cartoon Pizza created Pinky Dinky Doo, they decided to go with Noggin rather than Disney Channel.

What really confuses me is why PB&J continues to air in Australia on PHD, but not in the US.

And I know of other markets where it's airing as well. But then again, other markets get full 24 hour Playhouse Disney channels. But Disney is weird here. They could easily compete against both Noggin and Sprout by offering a full 24 hour Playhouse Disney network and yet they don't.

I know! Seriously! They could take away Disney XD and change it to the full PHD station we want. Or, they could keep that and brodcast retro PHD online, similar to what Nick did in '06.

Disney XD is junk, the only show I like on there is a holdover from Toon Disney called Pucca and I haven't really watched that lately...

I know. Disney XD just makes me sick. The only reason I mentioned keeping it as an alternative (I'd defintely not choose that) was because I know there are some people (who IMO don't know the goodness they're missing) who watch that station. Ugh. But I don't.

BTW, I was looking around on your fileburst uploads, and I saw that you had the audio for Thanks for the Giggle Melon and the videos for Forgive Me Not / These Shoes are Made for Walking on there (which I watched/listened to--thanks!), and I was just wondering if I could mention those on my blog, too. Thanks.

Yeah, okay, sure. Go ahead and link them from there. I probably need to do some cleaning up on that page-- I have a lot of old stuff sitting around that probably isn't being used anymore. And some of the other stuff probably should be organized into folders, assuming I can do that without screwing up too many existing links...

Well XD was meant as the boy equivalent to the regular channel that's now been targeted towards girls. Ex: Kick Buttkowski, Zeke & Luther, Pair of King, Marvel's block of programs, et al are ALL shows targeted primarily at the preteen male demographic.

I guess it's too likely the show could be on Disney Junior in the nearest months, but I'd love to see it on DVDs - all episodes, fine quality, no channel logos.

I happened to see this and question its authenticity:
    http://scratchpad.wikia.com/wiki/PB%26J_Otter:_A_Hoo_Haw_Haw_Christmas
Seems quite the surprise that any trace of the show would return to TV after a 4 year hiatus but I suppose it's possible.

You never know. Shows have come back after a hiatus such as Battlebots and Slamball.
