Peach Girl

Show Summary

Momo Adachi is a member of her high school swim team, and happens to tan very easily and her hair tends to bleach out in the sun. Most people mistake her sun kissed skin and light hair to be a sign of her being easy. Momo is trying to convince the boy she's fallen for that she is not this type of girl however, but rumors from a jealous friend make her task much more difficult.

  • absolutely fabulous sarcasm DX i can't watch this show its just that awful

    1.0
Ok this show is awful its like one of those fake high school drama's that they show on tv. I lasted 1 minute and 52 seconds before i stopped the vid. the only realistic part was momo getting copped a feel by an old man but since shes a minor he could of gotten arrested and marked as a sex offender which means his life would be ruined XD. the main character has personality issuues cuz she thinks shes ugly and her best friend is a coniving b!t** that mocks her and calls everything she likes ugly but she still calls her a best friend. the best friend is ugly and pale as possible and has really short hair and is possibly the most annoying person ever created in an anime next to marry sues.moreless
  • Trust. Betrayal. Drama. Love triangle.

    8.3
The manga was great, so I decided to watch the anime. The japanese opening was better than the english (one from the DVD). The anime is full of drama, caused by Momo's backstabbing "friend" Sae Kashiwagi, who pretends to be her friend but likes to copy everything she likes. She tries to steal Toji, Momo's love interest, with evil schemes. The anime always leaves you hanging at the end of each episode to get you addicted and wonder what will happen next. And then there's Sae's story after all the drama ends, I recommend you to read it if you liked Peach Girl.moreless
  • Momo is a tan, light haired swim girl that comes of as "easy", while she is exactly the oppisite. She has one best "friend" named Sae who has a thing for taking everything Momo wants for herself.moreless

    4.9
I was forced to watch this by a friend who's a newcomer to Anime. Peach Girl is about as shojo as you can make any manga or show, with a lot of drama, a lot of tears, a lot of emotional moments, and a lot of backstabbing. Every episode Momo realizes something new about a different boy and decides that she loves and needs him, but then a girl who she insists on being friends with ends up taking it all away repetitively. This show goes downhill fast, and it becomes extremely annoying. It's definetly something I would NOT recommend, but if you have a thing for a lot of constant drama, then this show will give you huge portion sizes of exactly that to chew on.moreless
