Episode Summary

EDIT
Cowntess, just back from a world cruise, is showing some of her home movies from the trip. Globey teaches Pee-wee how to say "hello, my name is Pee-wee" in French and Chinese! When a lost puppy appears at the Playhouse door, no one can figure out who the owner is. Pee-wee develops a strong case of puppy love and decides to keep him and name him Aloysius. However, Reba comes "over," and it's obvious just whose dog it is.moreless

I find it sad whenever a pet gets lost, but it made me happy when I found out that the lost puppy, that Pee-Wee named Aloysius, belonged to Reba. Someone mentioned in the "Notes" that although Reba said she would bring Aloysius with her every now and then, Aloysius never showed up again in this series. Maybe he died before Reba's next appearance.
  • Not only does this story teach you about how to handle pets, but it also has fun facts and activities you'd like to try.

There's a lot to be learned from this episode. The most important things to learn, first is how to take care of a pet like a dog. I liked the information Magic Screen provided on taking care of pets. I also appreciated Mrs. Rene's way of describing what to do if you find a lost dog.

The other great things this episode taught are how to say "Hello, my name is ..." in two languages. If you ever go to China, France, or Canada, this could be very helpful. When I saw the part where Pee-wee was making his raisins swim, I tried that experiment myself once. I used Squart soda, and it was amazing!

The arts and crafts segment is a lot of fun. Think of all the great things you can make out of macaroni.

This episode is so educational, you'll want to watch it "over" and "over" again. Also, this happens to be my all-time favorite one ... or at least one of them. So, should you happen to read my review, I hope you will take my opinions and give a good score for it. Or if you gave a low one previously, you can change it to a number higher than 5 or 6. I hope you'll give a "good," "great," "superb," or even a "perfect" score. That's the reason why I gave the episode a 10.0 score.moreless
