Welcome to Peep Show, or rather, welcome to the minds of two outcast individuals, Jeremy Osborne and Mark Corrigan.
Peep Show isn't like any other comedy in the fact that all the humour is in the thoughts from the main characters. Set in a clever and sometimes uncomfortable first person viewpoint, a lot of the show's dialogue is the two character's train of thought, their reaction and opinions to their surroundings. Hearing their immediate thoungs firsthand is an interesting concept, and helps you relate more to the characters.
The scenarios the two characters are in are never usually exciting or dynamic, scenes can be as simple as Jeremy making Mark dinner, but their immediate thoughts, the voices in their head, that, can make anything funny, no matter how dull the situation.
This show is fantastic, and as it matures, continues to impress and entertain. Who'd have thought seeing life through someone else's eyes could be so entertaining?
