Well, I think they covered the separation of church and state adequately in their The Bible and Creationism episodes, but hey, more creationist-bashing is absolutely fine by me!

I'd like to see them cover the gay marriage controversy, if at least so I can raise my arms in agreement and shout "Yeah, damn straight!"

Edit: And hey, maybe that topic could delve further into the separation of church and state!

i think they discussed gay marriage in there discussion on family values and the family unit but i think they should delve into it a bit more

Also i would like to add the con that is the MIC or military industrial complex and the way it spends our tax dollars

how about the worst channel ever: Day Star

it's like a religion channel, but it's only real purpose is to gain money for the owners

they do this by selling sermons that are guaranteed to produce miracles or make your life better.

and the sermons that they sell do not have a price, just a "gift" that you have to give in order to receive the product

sometimes the bastards go as low as to call it a "lovegift" - pure, unadulterated BS

your right about that and i would like to add that P&T should do a episode about the rubbish that peter popoff and his ilk are selling i know P&Tare best friend with james randi the person who destroyed the charlatan popoff and his televanglism but i see popoff is back selling holy water on the BET chanal and surely i hope P&T will destroy this crook once and for all

Heh, well, if James Randi's ruthless debunking and criticism of Peter Popoff on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson can't stop him, believe me, an episode on a Showtime series won't, either. But watching P&T shoot the crook down would be an interesting watch.

Another thing I'd like to see (although I'm not quite sure which overall episode theme may fit) would be to thoroughly demolish that *sshole Kevin Trudeau and his "books." If there's one person I despise even more than Sylvia Browne, it's him.

Let's go hardcore for season 6.

    I would like them tob#@hit

GET READY FOR THIS, IT'S GOING TO HIT YOU LIKE A TONE OF BRICKS

The miracles and apparition of Medjugorhe, Fatima, etc.

I always like the sceptics like the amazing Randi going after palm reader and mind artist and thing they debunked the hardest thing. You know what that does not impress me. **** I can debunk these one acts. You want to impresse me do a hardcore Medjugorhe and Fatima debunking. No holds bar. Don't debunk crap, debunk the hardcore. Debunk every singleevent that happens at Medjugorhe with pure straight explanation and show how it can be replicated(this is important). Then I will be impressed.

It's actually spelt: Skepti-- Oooooh, I see what you did there.

Well, define hardcore. What Randi debunks are some of the most widely-believed scams in our society. I certainly don't see how shooting down people such as so-called "psychic surgeons," who steal the money, time, and even lives away from those who need true medical help can be a waste of time. Nor do I see his focus on people like Peter Popoff minor, as he's essentially worse, not only promising to cure all that ails the faithful (stealing their money and dissuading them from finding proper treatment in the process), but urging people, especially the poor, to forfeit their savings onto him to be "saved by God's grace." Calling him a scumbag would be putting it far too mildly.

So I disagree, Randi isn't wasting his time or is following a petty course of action.

I also have no idea what the apparition of Medjugorhe is, but if it's anything like the apparition of Fátima, I don't see by what means he can challenge it (considering common sense and science are nonexistant) and to what ends. By challenging people like Popoff and Browne, Randi's potentially helping people who could otherwise be fooled, lose their money, or worse. By challenging a religious site, all he's doing is disputing a place of worship.

Either way, people like Randi aren't out to impress you-- they're out to protect people from thieves, con artists and charlatans.

even though iam a athiest i felt it a little unfair how they devoted an entire episode bashing the bible soto even things out i think P&T should do a episode focusing on the koran and the torah and other religious books

Heh, political correctness is as far as possible from P&T's minds, so I don't see that happening.

Also, to be fair, the book of Genesis, which was by far the primary focus of that episode, is not exclusively Christian. It's followed by both Christians and Jews. As far as I know, Moslims also acknowledge Genesis, or at least, believe most of it to be true, but see the book as slanted by the Christian notion of Original Sin. So in that respect, they've bashed all Abrahamic religions.
