Show Summary

Dr. Daniel Pierce is a popular but eccentric and idiosyncratic professor with paranoid schizophrenia. He's a neuroscientist with an M.D. and a Ph.D. who possesses incredible insight into human behavior - especially strange human behavior. Dr. Pierce is sometimes recruited by the FBI to help solve complex cases. His FBI contact is former student Kate Moretti who had a crush on him when she was his student. Natalie Vincent who had a relationship with Daniel a long time ago has settled in as best friend. She helps by pointing out his faults and shortcomings and likes to give him a hard time. Dr. Pierce has a fun and interesting relationship with his teaching assistant Max Lewicki who serves in a wide range of capacities.

    • techical errors

Perception S1 Ep9 poor screening. the man enters the motel with the door hinges on his right side, but once inside the door hinges are on his left,, Really jumped out at me.. The quality of the set would be improved if the door jams at least half way fit. with a good sound system your can easily hear the difference on the sound of the door closing, normal verses cheap stage trash. doors that are back lite should not have light shining thru the door jam after the door is closed. .cheap stage carpentry is really distracting.moreless
    • We need Dr. Daniel Pierce

Perception - one of the two best shows on TV - canceled!

This show had it all - the fabulous Eric McCormick who I've loved since Will & Grace - a totally unique

and engaging approach to crime solving - a group of supporting characters who allowed Daniel to be

"OK" with his brilliance and vulnerability. I am so bored with all the stupidity of reality TV and stale

programming. This was a great show for people who actually like "thinking". Wouldn't it be great if TNT's loss was another network's gain and Perception got picked up and kept it going? Perception will be greatly missed.moreless
    • Frustrated another favourite is going

Why do they always cancel the best shows? Yet reality programs that get more braindead each year get season after season. You'd think they would keep the shows that people enjoy to keep getting ratings instead of cancelling favourite programs and pushing people away. Lets just hope they realise what a mistake they made or another station picks it up.
    • At last we get an end .I hope.

Ever since the series was cancelled i thought we would be left hanging .Now at last we may get an end to the story ,Unlike so many series that are cancelled with out warning .It seems that the station rely to much on viewing figures and do not take into account people who watch on catchup or record to watch later .Anyway with luck we will get some sort of closure.moreless
    • "Perception" gone bad

This show is one of my husband and my favorite shows because it puts a great spin to what would be just a regular crime show. We are so tired of those at the networks making horrible decisions on what they think is a popular show and what is not. I can think of other shows that we can't figure out how they are still on (one being Major Crimes, don't like the lead not even close to the brilliance of Perception). We are very disappointed with TNT. That is now two shows cancelled that we found very entertaining on the off and Franklin and what network to go to now?moreless
