  • Wow...this show is truly awful. I can't think of anyone who would watch this.

    I don't get it. I don't get it at all.

    I don't know anything about the characters (after watching an episode...or at least trying to..) and that proves only one thing and one thing only. The characters didn't make an impact on me and I couldn't relate to them.

    Another thing...where's the conflict? Everything is peaceful in this abomination of what NBC calls a "comedy." It doesn't even fit drama because it has no drama. No serious scenes and quite frankly, no reason to care.

    The only reason why this show is on is because NBC can't have an odd number of comedies so they picked up the pilot that didn't make it and ordered episodes for it. That's great, NBC...make us sit through horrid trash but you know what, that's okay. I can always watch Community, The Office, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, and even Outsourced on Hulu.com. I wonder what will come first...a new show to replace you in spring or fall or a full-hour of 30 Rock or The Office. I'm taking my chances with the full-hour.moreless

    A show about three very different couples with some very well written scenes and actors decent comic timing. Think a kinda relationship comedy in a kinda Todd Philips vein. Lots to relate to for those in the age bracket and related situations. i must say i enjoy it and must say its superior to similar comedy "Better With You". Give it a chance to develop and it could be much better. Great to see a show without a laugh track. Modern Family another show off the top of my head on mainstream tv not currently using one. Episode 3 made clever use of flashbacks to complete a mini story arc and set some back story for the couples in the show... kinda in the same way How I Met Your Mother does. Don't write it off just yet, there is definite potential and since it comes across as a rather cheap film and produce (compared to other comedies) it may have a chance to survive as mid season replacement comedy for a season or two.moreless

    This may be the worst sitcom I have ever seen. All of the men seem like graduates of unseen straight-to-DVD National Lampoon movies, able to mug for the camera with an appeal that only a 12-year-old would find amusing. The women seem like they've stepped off the set of a Bud Light commercial in which the girl/wife is humiliated. Actually, it's like a 22-minute Bud Light commercial. I guess Bud Light ads are popular with someone. However, it's jarring to see such unsophisticated junk on NBC's Thursday night comedy line-up. Did NBC make a deal with Satan 20 years ago that dictated that one abysmal comedy must always air among otherwise brilliant fare?moreless

    Don't know what to say about this one: all review made in advance were very bad, starting by the over-used three different couples with three different types of relationship. While this is true I didn't find it so bad ( kudos at least for not using the laugh track) and it made me chuckle sometimes. among the sour point I don't really point to the fact that it's not ground-breaking ( which most shows aren't and a characteristic which for the sake of itself it's not that good), but it's pretty much average, nondescript ( I cannot remember the name of the characters and that's not a good sign). I like most of the characters, except maybe Olivia Munn's couple (I get their function in the ensemble, but come on).moreless
