There were only nine seasons of Perry Mason produced, comprising 271 episodes. Only season one is available on DVD in two volumes, comprising 39 episodes.

If you are seeing something saying all 12 seasons for sale, it's probably a bootleg copy, or something somebody made off of VHS copies. Season 1 is available in 2 sets, season 2 Vol. 1 is tentatively set for a June 19th release. I own the 1st season. I love it.

    Stay away!
Some of the DVDs are copies from the Columbia DVDs and the quality is OK. Others are reordings from hallmarchannel and the quality is bad. Others again are copies of old VHS-tapes and the quality is unacceptable.

I'll just stick with the "official" DVD releases as they become available on Amazon. I bought both volumes of Season 1 and Vol. 1 of Season 2. Vol. 2 of Season 2 is coming out in November, so that's when I'll get it. No need to pay so much money for subpar quality (especially considering that the official releases all have fantastic video and audio quality).

Well, considering we've had two seasons released in a year, and Paramount has a great track record with releases of cla$$ic shows (Hawaii 5-O, Mission: Impossible, Wild Wild West), I'd think Perry Mason would continue to be released.
