Lt. Tragg (arriving to question Perry's client): Counselor. How are you? Perry: Couldn't be better. Lt. Tragg: I'm glad to hear that. Della you, you look lovelier than ever if that's possible. Della: How very sweet of you Lieutenant. Lt. Tragg: Well, it's no more than you deserve.
This is one of the few episodes in which we learn the fate of the actual murderer. The guilty party receives a sentence of life imprisonment.
Guest star May Wynn took her name from the character she portrayed in the classic war drama The Caine Mutiny. Ms. Wynn was also once married to Maverick star Jack Kelly in real life.
