AIRED:
While a woman is searching the office of the South African Diamond Company, George Baxter enters to meet Walter Lumis and Duane Jefferson. He notices things in disarray and questions the woman. Meanwhile Baxter calls for the police assuming a robbery has taken place. That evening the dead body of George Baxter is seen being thrown from a pier. • Della: Well, I hope you'll both be gallant when we have dinner with them tonight.
Paul: Dinner? Dinner with who? Burger and Tragg?
Della: No. With Senator and Mrs. Ralph Taylor and the real Dwayne Jefferson. It's right here in this wire.
Paul: Well, read us to it, Della, read it.
Perry: Oh no. Della has been the detective on this one. Here, you read it.
Paul: "I wish to thank you for not exposing those cartoon in court. Stop. Pat and I would like to take you to dinner..."
Perry: That's enough. Now, would you like to take a couple of notes?
